Upgraded to the new iPhone!

I assume you all know the new iPhones were released yesterday. Lines were wrapped around the stores and how it was complete mayhem and yada yada yada. So Leo and I walked in this morning to our local AT&T store and upgraded our iPhones. No lines. No wait. On second thought, there is a wait. They're delivering the phones to the store. Apparently Leo couldn't wait, so he ordered his on rush. Mine is on standard delivery. I could wait 7-10 days for GPS and faster interweb. No biggy. So they'll call/e-mail when they are ready for pick up. Sweet.

I am ecstatic. We are definitely upgrading our iPhones on July 11th.

I really love my iPhone. And I'm glad I snagged one. I can't tell you how much my boss and I swear it's the best thing since internet. I've had it for several months already and it hasn't failed me yet. True love.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

Once every Spring, the city picks up large amounts of trash for free. Old furniture, boxes, junk, etc. It's spring cleaning time. As you can see from the photo, I'm taking advantage of this opportunity to get rid lots of shit. I had fun last weekend dumping heaps of un-used crap I wanted to get rid of ever since we moved here. Leo told our neighbor, Jean, that this was my favorite time of the year. And it is! And the timing could not be any better. My folks are in town this weekend and we've got a lot of house work to do. I'm really glad they have this program. You see, another reason why we like living here.

Pretty bold statement considering THIS IS NOT SAN DIEGO. I had their Mexican food with a co-worker last week and did not even compare. Eating Mexican food in another city other than San Diego (or MEXICO for that matter) is blasphemous.

iPhone Update

Can I tell you how much Apple kicks ass right now? I just updated my iPhone on iTunes with the new features and totally loving it. Now if only they can come up with a feature to do my dry cleaning and make my coffee, I am seriously going to make love to the genius who comes up with that. Seriously, though. Apple's headquarters (Cupertino, CA) is 15 minutes away from my house.

Holidays are here, but I'm not

San Diego was a blast. Always a blast. But on the third day, I was ready to go home. Home as in Santa Clara. NOT San Diego. Such a trip. Never thought I would ever say that! I can't even believe we booked our vacation for an entire week. A week at my parents house. Eating rice and listening to my dad watch the Filipino Channel 24/7. I can only handle my parents in small doses. Honestly, I haven't spent that much time with them since I was in high school. Now I can see why I never really went back home. I love them to death. Especially my dad. But he needs to find a new past-time that doesn't involve watching Filipino's dance and sing. Oh, and my mom was trying to tell me that I am not attractive and that I should fix myself up with make-up. She basically told me I was ugly in an attempt to be subtle. Really, mom? This is breaking news to you? Because dude, you seriously need to get a MySpace account so you can keep up with the news.

Anyhow, yesterday I finally figured out how to blog with my iPhone. Now if only if can motivate myself to blog more often now that I have a phone capable of doing so, that would be great. But motivation is just half the battle. I've been angry at myself lately for lots of things. Something always comes up and I never get to do what I need to do. I just want to shoot myself. What the hell is wrong with me? Not sure. But I'll figure it out... eventually.
