We've been in San Diego spending our xmas with the family. We are driving back up this afternoon and I'm not looking forward to another 11 hour drive. No joke. Hope you guys had an awesome xmas. I know I did! I finally got my Mac for my bday/xmas present. =) I'll post more later. Better yet, I'll post a new video on YouTube that I produced on my Mac.

Hella cold
This morning, I dropped Kailee off to her religion school wearing layers and layers of clothing. Moving up here, I don't think we were prepared for winters like this because we figured it's still California. NO. I was wrong. Huge difference. But I must say that winters up here are a lot prettier than the south because trees are gold and red. And everywhere you go, leaves are falling and homes are more festive unlike San Diego. People really get into it over here. I even noticed that with my new co-workers. They are so damn jolly and spirited. I don't know whether to put a gun to my head or bake cookies for the office. Despite the weather and carne asadaless fries, the Bay Area has been good to us. And I'm really looking forward to our first New Years in San Francisco!
Our front yard and our humongous tree, it's so bare:

New Avatar
So every account I have online that requires an avatar, I always use this. A photo I took 2.5 years ago:

However, I'm getting kind of bored with it and some guy(s) whom I'ved played online video games with try to get fresh with me. And really, it's not a good looking picture. At least those were not my intentions.
So the new look is this. Not much has changed, as you can tell:

Kind of confused/worried look. I'm sure I can take a better picture than that where my ass and cleavage is all like WHOA. But then I'm affraid of getting a call from Tila Tequila saying she wants her look back. Plus I lack motivation.

I don't get paid for this
Ever since I've made a YouTube video at work to share with everyone in the office and installed hard drives in our computers, everyone has been asking for technical favors. It's so weird. You would think a lot of people would know this basic stuff considering I work with a bunch of young brilliant people in my age group. But they don't! It's like, have you guys been living under a rock? Their response would be, "No, we actually have better things to do than live under rock in front of our computers, Mary Anne." So I guess I'm the one living under a rock. Honestly, I think I am so technically challenged. I laughed when someone asked the other day, "Mary Anne, I lost my shortcut to a file. Please help me. The sky is falling." Then I don't feel so bad for myself anymore. Today someone asked me to upload songs on their iPod without iTunes. Haha. And then someone asked me to work their gmail AIM. I need to start charging people, because it seriously impedes me from doing my job. Time is money, people!!!

Yelp!
If you don't know about yelp, then this is the post for you. It's a place to rate and share information about places you eat at. I recently found an excellent chinese food place (excellent chinese food in my opinion is hard to find) nearby. I only had some quick take out, but I can't wait to take Mae and Kailee to experiment much more of the menu!
For those still trapped in San Diego, the best chinese food (in my opinion, again..) is Dumpling Inn on Convoy. It's across the street from Korea House. I recommend the Kung Pao Sea Bass.
